We would like to invite you to the Bedfordshire Sands Lights of Love Remembrance Service, which will be held at St Andrews Church, Kimbolton Rd, Bedford, Bedfordshire, MK40 2PF on Sunday 4^th December 2022 at 4pm.

If you would like to attend the Remembrance Service, please can you complete the form at https://forms.office.com/r/QAeSFu0NET where you can order a Bauble, request to Light a candle in your Baby’s name or provide a reading. Please ensure to complete the form by Friday 25^th November 2022.

If you cannot attend the Remembrance Service, but would like someone to light a candle in memory of your Baby, please also complete the form (Say ‘No’ to Q.4 and then provide your Baby’s name in Q.5).

Christmas can be a difficult time for those of us whose little ones are not here to share it with us and the Remembrance Service gives an opportunity to spend a little time for our children.  You are welcome to invite Grandparents and extended family to join us if you wish.  The service will include carols and readings, baubles with baby names on to hang on the Christmas tree and lighting of candles for our babies.

Bedfordshire Sands provides a bauble with your baby’s name on it for the service, and you can take this home at the end. You can then hang your baby’s bauble on your tree at home and save it to bring with you for next years’ service. Many people also dedicate readings to their children, which are included in the programme. (We can also arrange for someone to read for you, if this would be helpful.)

Afterwards, there will be cakes, snacks and drinks along with an opportunity for everyone to chat, and children to play. Every year, during the refreshments, we hold a raffle to raise funds for Bedfordshire Sands, and to help pay for the service’s running costs. If you would like to buy raffle tickets, they will be available on the day.
